What is Apex Warzone?
Apex Warzone is a global tournament that spans the course of two months (April 1- May 31 2020). The tournament will be be broken down into two seasons. Season Alpha takes place from April 1 - April 30 2020. Season Omega takes place from May 1 - May 31 2020.
During Apex Warzones, registered players will independently play Apex Legends and/or Call of Duty: Warzone (see below for Tournament Calendar). While each person plays, Stoned Gamer officials will track specific stats of each person and assign scores according to specific tournament criteria (see below for Scoring Criteria).
Daily and Weekly Player Leaderboards will be published on SGL.gg, along with Social Media keeping track of every tournament participants' stats. Data will be compiled using Tracker.gg throughout Apex Warzone.
Every player that competes in Apex Warzone will receive an exclusive SGL medal for their account. The top player in each specific scoring criteria each week and month will receive a trophy on their SGL account along with 10,000SG. Physical prizes have not yet been determined (see below for Tournament Prizes).
Player registration for Season Alpha (April 1 - April 30 2020) will be open until April 1st 12:00pm PST. After this, no new players will be allowed to register. Registration will open up again for Season Omega (May 1 - May 31 2020) on April 27th 1:00pm PST.
Scoring criteria for vary from Call of Duty: Warzone and Apex Legends. While both are FPS, each game has its own unique elements and statistics. It's important to note that your stats are only counted after the tournament begins April 1st 10:00am PST. We will only count new kills, wins...etc. from after this point until the end of the season. The SGL will be grading on the following criteria:
Call of Duty: Warzone Scoring Criteria
Each player that participates in Call of Duty: Warzone will be scored in the following categories. Both categories include both Plunder and Battle Royale gameplay (example: kills for both game mode are counted)
Wins
How many wins you collect
Kills
How many kills you amass
K/D Ratio
The ratio of your kills / deaths
Top 5
The number of Top 5 placements you get
Contracts
The number of contracts and player completes
Average Life
The duration of your average life before being killed
Cash
The amount of cash gathered in Plunder
Score/Game
Your average score per game
Apex Legends Scoring Criteria
Each player that participates in Apex Legends will be scored slightly different than Call of Duty: Warzone. Beginning April 1st at 10:00am PST, each player signed up for Apex Legends will have their most recently played Apex Legends character selected as their 'Main.' If a player would like to change their main, they can do so by contacting SGL-Sports on chat through SGL.gg or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. Due to the limitations of the Apex Legends API, we can only track your most recently played character.
There are a total of 12 Apex Legends characters (Season 5 of Apex Legends begins May 5th 2020. The 13th character will be added to the roster). The scoring criteria will specific to each character and will account for kills and season wins.

Squad Scoring Criteria
In addition to individual stats, all stats for each squad will be aggregated (combined for Apex Legends and Call of Duty: Warzone) and scored among other squads. All squad stats will be posted in the 'Apex Warzone' tab at the top of the screen.
