Results of the SIXTH Stoned Gamer Qualifying Tournament on 8/13

The summer is almost over, and we are deep in Group B of the 2017 Stoned Gamer Tournament Season. Many have entered, few have become champions. The Stoned Gamer Tournament has arrived on the streets of Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, California for the site of the sixth Stoned Gamer Qualifier.

The Sixth Stoned Gamer Qualifying Tournament marks the first time the competition has resided in the gritty streets of Hollywood, CA. Pot Rocks and CaliPlug, are premier partners, came along on this voyage to get everyone as elevated as possible.

This tournament also marked the debut of a new Stoned Gamer Arcade : The CaliPlug Edition!

With enough Street Fighter 2 beatdowns and highly intense gameplay, the playing field was wittled down to the Final Four.

First up we had Riley take on The Parisian Pulverizer, Jules.

In a dominant 2-0 victory, Jules grabbed his spot at the champion match. Next up was Adam versus Cyrus. Both competitors choose Chun Li and Blanka respectively, and in the end, Adam grabbed the victory in a 2-1 win. Cyrus still went home with his Final Four Pot Rocks prize package.

In the championship round, we were left with Jules and Adam going head-to-head for their shot at a handsome PotRocks Prize package. Although the battle was competitive, it was Jules that came on top and becamse the champion of the Sixth Stoned Gamer Qualifying Tournament.

That's the end of this Stoned Gamer Qualifier -- now let's all have a look at Archie! Who brings dogs to a Street Fighter 2 fight!

Zeus is represented by Galactus in his avatar image because he has an immature obsession with Marvel when they went all sci-fi back in the mid 80s. I'm the creator of The Stoned Gamer, MiddleEasy, and Nickelodeon's The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Just kidding about the Nickelodeon stuff, but that would be really cool. I also produced nutty things for MERRY JANE, and a former writer for High Times Magazine.
